2 date nights

Pick one together.

The idea

You each secretly pick five snacks or drinks. Your partner tastes each one blindfolded and has to guess what it is, and why you picked it.

You'll need

A blindfold (a scarf works), five snacks or drinks each, a pen and paper for keeping score.

How it works

  1. Shop separately. Same store, split up, and don't peek at each other's basket.
  2. Take turns. Blindfold on, one bite or sip, then guess what it is.
  3. One point for each right answer, plus a bonus point if you guess why your partner chose it. The winner picks the next movie. The loser brings the popcorn.

Make it yours

Give it a theme: all chips, gas station only, flavours from your childhood, or snacks from one country.

The idea

You each take the other to two places that mean something to you, and tell the story behind them.

You'll need

A car, a bus pass or good boots.

How it works

  1. Each of you secretly picks two places: one from before you met, and one that's just "you." A childhood park, an old job, a favourite coffee spot, the place you go to think.
  2. Take turns leading. At each stop, tell the story: what happened here and why it matters. Only share what you’re happy to share.
  3. End somewhere neither of you has been before, together.

Make it yours

Did you grow up far away? Swap the places for photos and tell the stories from the couch.

Send Real Mail

The challenge

This week, mail your partner a handwritten letter. A real one, with a stamp.

How it works

  1. Write it by hand. A postcard is enough. Tell them something you've never said out loud: the moment you knew you liked them, something they do that you always notice, or what you're looking forward to together.
  2. Mail it without saying when. Yes, even if you live together.
  3. Read it on your own, then talk about it over dinner.

The twist

Whoever's letter arrives first picks the next date night.

Make it yours

Tuck something flat inside: a photo, a ticket stub, a terrible drawing.

That's a whole Love Post. A new one arrives in your mailbox every month.
